It is awful easy to be hard-boiled about everything in the daytime, but at night it is another thing. - Chapter 4, The Sun Also Rises

I had a pretty good day today.
Right now, I'm watching The O.C. and it's probably one of my favorite episodes of the series: The Strip, which is where Seth, Ryan, Sandy, Jimmy and Caleb go to The VEGAS! Ah, this is such a good show.

I've been reading The Sun Also Rises on and off today and I have to say, I've never read Hemingway before, but I'm really enjoying this book. I still haven't read the short story L referred for me to read. Alas.

The name of the novel is taken from the Bible, Ecclesiastes 1:5: "the sun also ariseth."

The day began with me waking up and cuddling with Buster. I took a shower and then the family and I went to the mall. I got some new clothes and a new pair of shoes. It was very exciting. New clothes! All girls love new clothes. And shoes, right?

I had a steak for dinner and it was pretty good. I also brought back some for Buster and a huge brownie, but it needed to be eaten with milk, so that's why I brought it home with me.

Julie Cooper and Kirsten's little sister Hailey are cat fighting at Julie's bachelorette party. Funny stuff, funny stuff.

Oh yes, I wanted to post a new picture that M took of me, but it was taken with a cell phone camera, and it looks a little fuzzy, but you can kind of see my hair colors.

And here it is. Buster just stretched and it was cute.

Well, I think I'm gonna get done with this post.
