My first blog? Is it?

Technically this isn't my "first" blog, however, this site is free, and I don't have to pay anything out of my pocket to entertain the masses. If I'm even entertaining.

So... I'm just going to re-insert my actual first blog from my last blog. Blog blog blog. It doesn't look like a real word after typing it for so long, but doesn't that happen with every word?

Cut and paste: -literally, but changed somewhat-

I think the title is fitting, yet cliche.

I guess my idea of wanting a blog was to vent my slight frustration on pop culture. But, even though I am a girl, post-teenage I add, I am what you call intrigued by it. As most girls do, I read tabloid magazines, read girly chic lit, and I absolutely <3>

As for myself, I guess the idea of a "first blog" is to get to know the blogger and what he/she is all about and what they're going to be blabbing about. Well... I'm 20-something. I'm an English major with a Philosophy/Theology minor and I've never been to NYC. It's the truth, and probably about as much as you'll get for now, because I'm new to the blogging world and I don't want a stalker so quickly. I'm also blonde and cute. ;)

But seriously, I guess I should put a list of likes and dislikes....
Likes:
* Popular culture television shows
* Reading books, and writing them
* Hanging out with my friends, even though I don't do that much anymore (I'll explain later)
* Getting tattoos. I have four of them.
* Playing video games. I just got an Xbox 360. I'm also a big RPG fan. I'm kind of a nerd, but not really.

Dislikes:
* Reality TV
* Stupid bitches who don't like anyone but themselves or people like them.
* Stomach aches
* Dentists
* Being far away from my friends

Well, sooner or later I'll make another post and make more detailed lists on my favorite tv shows, books, color, blah blah.

Right now, it's kinda late, and I'm watching one of my all-time favorite tv shows: Veronica Mars. Who doesn't love a sassy chick with quick wit and has private detective skills? I was almost a P.I. once....

Well, that was my original blog, but now I think I want to add a little more than that because I have the urge to write. I do enjoy writing, considering I'm an English major. I own many books, among them are two versions of the Holy Bible, The Koran, and the Mormon chapter of the Bible. I'm very interested in religions, even though I haven't found God myself.

I'm very influenced by the Buddhist religion, although my anger takes over me sometimes. I can't help but involve myself in worldly activities since I still live in this "world." I have many tattoos that are significant to the Buddhist religion, and I hope they don't offend any Buddhists themselves, because I'm only appreciating their religion a different way than other people.

I did say in my first blog (see above) that I wanted to include my favorite books, movies, etc. Well, the truth is that I don't really have a favorite movie, because it's too hard for me to decide. (I was a film student before I became an English major) As for books, I love everything by Chuck Palahniuk. He isn't what I aspire to be when I write, but I love his voice. When I say voice, I mean his written voice, not his real vocal voice. Maybe Chuck's a good singer. Who knows? I couldn't distinguish a single favorite from his vast collection of written works. I almost own them all.

I also said that I would talk about why I don't hang out with my friends as much as I would like to. You see, my best friends are about 400 miles away from me right now. Sad, yes I know. I'm living with my parents, gasp, and I don't have any friends down here right now. I long to be near them again. I don't mean that in a weird way, but I am a weird person and I do phrase things weirdly at times, so excuse whatever it is I say that may confuse you.

Ugh.... soon I will be going to watch the online episodes of Ugly Betty. I only recently got into watching this show. My parents love it, and now I do too. Actually, to go back a little further in time, I used to hate primetime TV. I used to despise people who would work their nights around watching the newest episode of Grey's Anatomy or Lost (which are now two of my all-time favorite shows).

I watched some TV with my family this evening. Practically everything that came on NBC tonight I watched. The Big Bang Theory. How I Met Your Mother. Two and a Half Men. The New Adventures of Old Christine. All funny. I like dramas though. I've always been a dramatic person, but I don't mean that in a Britney Spears kind of dramatic. I was in theatre in high school, but not a "theatre kid." I wasn't in band. I wasn't in choir. I was in the art classes. I did skip Art 3. I felt proud of myself for going straight to Art 4.

I think I've rambled enough about myself for one night. I think I'm going to watch some Ugly Betty. I do enjoy this show. It makes me laugh out loud, which doesn't happen very often.

So,

peace and love
