a short blog

A few things have changed in the past few hours.
M didn't go to work today, and the people at Ruby Tuesday are apparently angry with her. She is sick, but she was my reference and if they're angry with her, what are they going to do about me? Not hire me? Then it is definitely back to square one.

In other news, I finished two books today. Lets see what else I can finish before I go to the library tomorrow. If I even make it to the library tomorrow. Who knows what I'll end up doing. Laying out better be one of those things, I'm telling you right now. I need to sweat out this anger I have for trying to find a job.

Right now, the only books I have started reading are Lullaby and The Sun Also Rises. I can't decide which one I should read next tonight. Maybe I'll start a new one. Anna Karenina? Madame Bovary

I wish Buster didn't have any fleas.

oooooooh, barracuda

It has finally arrived. Or at least I think it has. I got this picture from Amazon.com.
Other than that, I STILL haven't heard from the people from Ruby Tuesday. M is supposed to be talking to them about me tonight, so I hope something goes right. Or else it's back to square one.

Hello, square one.

I've been having dreams about Adam Brody or maybe it's Seth Cohen I'm dreaming of, either way, it's incredibly hot. Not the dream, but the person(s).

Last night, I read the entirety of nothing can keep us together, a Gossip Girl book I picked up, just yesterday at the library. It was really good, and now I have the last three on hold and are waiting to be picked up. I'll also be getting Lost, season 2, which is extra exciting. I think that will be on my list of things-to-do tomorrow.

I laid out today, and read Lucky, an It Girl novel. I'm still reading, actually, even at 5:30. As for laying out, I feel as though my legs aren't getting as tan as fast as my arms are. It's quite unfortunate, if you ask me. I really need to find out a way to tan equally on all sides. I think tanning beds are exceptional if you don't have the time to lay out during the day. Since I have the time to lay out during the day now, I don't really want to  go and spend more time laying half-naked in a tube of glowing lights. I'm not bashing tanning beds, because I've used them on several occasions. I've even use them to create my "base tan" for the season of Spring. Malibu was the one who kind of talked me into going to tanning beds in the first place. I think I am going to write that book about my freshman year in college. It was life changing, I'm serious.

I believe it is strange how food that is supposedly more good for you is more expensive. The same goes for more economical cars and so on. Why do things that are supposed to be better for our lives and the life of our planet so unattainable except for the wealthy, who only aspire to be "green." My aunt just re-built her house after Katrina, and she had a lot of economically good things that she added to her house. I can't recall them now, but I remember the conversation my mother and I had about her sister. Well, the stuff my aunt added to her house wasn't extremely costly. So maybe having a "green," economical house isn't as expensive as attaining a hybrid car.

Whatever. I just got a call from a friend and I must depart. Although I do want to continue to bitch about the economy and how it is completely unfair.

me blogging and watching veronica mars just seems to happen at the same time all the time

Season 3. It would have been a pretty awesome season if it hadn't been CANCELLED
Logan and Veronica and their "epic love" is still going on at the beginning of the season. I like Logan and Veronica together.

Oh, and yes... tonight's Gossip Girl was pretty scandalous. Blair and Jenny duking it out throughout the whole episode. I don't know who I like more: Serena, Blair or Jenny. Blah blah. I don't know if I like the books or the series more either.

Piz's stuff has been stolen! Oh no! Veronica is there to take the case though. She's so talented.

My lesbian neighbor is coughing in her garage next door. Their garage is very close to my bedroom window, and it's painful when I'm in here with my window open, listening to my music or doing whatever I do here in my room, and I can hear the two of them talking or doing whatever they do in their garage. They're crazy.

I picked up Anna Karenina today from the library. Also picked up a Gossip Girl novel. I didn't know Anna Karenina was so long. What else should I expect from Count Leo Tolstoy though? War and Peace wasn't an easy read either, although I haven't read that one either. I'm just trying to educate myself while I'm not in school. The librarian helped me re-check out another book that was due today. I'm tight with the librarians.

I really hope these Ruby Tuesday people give me a job. I really don't want to keep looking for one anymore. Tomorrow, I'm supposed to expect an answer.

yellow dresses

Just a short blogging tonight, friends. I'm getting more tired by the minute.
Well, I didn't get to do any of the things that I wanted to do today. However, I did call Ruby Tuesday and I have to call back again tomorrow about the positions available.

I didn't lay out. I'm very very sad I didn't. I'm going to REALLY have to do that tomorrow. I did read a little bit of a book I need to bring back to the library. I didn't clean my room either. Those are the only things on the list. There was something else that I needed to do... let me check that out... oh yes, the library. I really do need to go to the library. I have two books I have to get from there that I put on hold. Anna Karenina and a Gossip Girl novel entitled: nothing can keep us together. I like to have a little variety. Of course.

Anyways, it's kinda hot in my room, even though I have the fan on and the window is open and it has been chilly these past few nights.

I'm pretty sure that was a run on sentence. I don't care.
